Time Magazine and how it's meaningless annual award became even more useless

Jon Stewart beat me to it, but yeah... I'll post the clip when it's up on YouTube (which will be within the hour I imagine).

Unfolding Drama
The most brilliant ad in the history of the TTC. Award winning too!

Little Italian kid playing the Nintendo Wii
Must see video.
EDIT: Seems as though the video has sadly been taken down. Probably because of rude comments by the YouTube users I imagine.

Discovery night launch better in HD

Probably the best sight to emerge from my HDTV since we got it. Also the best programming I've seen so far on HDnet, which since coming to Canada has shown nothing but interviews with bands i'm not interested in. This shuttle launch was worth all 1080 lines of resolution.
Read more about the actual shuttle launch here.
The Return of Lower Bay? TTC enthusiasts rejoice!
The newly minted TTC commissioners will have their first meeting on Wednesday, December 13, and on their plate is a decision that may significantly disrupt service for riders over six weekends starting this February, but which may open the fabled Lower Bay station to public view for the first time in forty years.
This is great news for those who peer down the darkened tunnel heading westbound at Yonge-Bloor station trying to get a glimpse of the fabled lost station. Too bad it's no longer dressed up to look as New York subway station.

Tornado tears up London streets

Strange weather in London Town.
A "mini-tornado" has swept through several north London streets, leaving over 100 properties damaged as stunned residents could only look on.

This is too silly. The Nintendo Wiimote to control my macbook?
Yup. That's right kids. It seems that Nintendo made the Wii's controller Bluetooth compatible. Since the macbook has bluetooth build in it's a perfect match. Although I don't own a Wii yet I do plan on getting one when they're more widely available. Check out this video of the Wii-Macbook in action. Not perfect yet but things like this only get better with time.
Oh, and feel free to mute the sound on the video since it's just some crappy song.
